Time Management

I get asked all the time how I manage my work week where I am able to help models and yet still work etc.  The answer is simple, we put the effort in where we care most and where our loyalties lay.

Here is how I manage my time M-F.

Up at 4 am
MFC from 4-4:30 am
Shower and make lunch for the day 5 am
MFC from 5 - 5:30am
Get ready for work 5:30 am - 6am
Drive to Work 6 - 7am
Work 7 am - 3pm/4pm depending on day
Workout 3-4pm depending on day
Drive home 4-5:30pm cause of traffic
MFC 5:30pm - 6pm
Dinner 6pm - 6:30pm
MFC from 6:30pm - 8:30 (or 9:30pm)
Sleep from 9:30pm - 4 am

MFC time may be helping models, but may just be on MFC.  Total MFC time = 3 hrs a day.
Work with travel time = 11.5 hrs

MFC work week = (3 x 5) = 15 hrs
Work Week = 11.5 x 5 = 57.5 hrs

And yet I spend time during the week while I am at work sometimes answering models assistance.  Know where your loyalty lays.

The ABC of Camming!!!

Accessible:

If guys cannot access you both on cam and off cam, why are they going to want to spend time in your room and even spend their money on you?  Read my blog about the 9-5 model.

Beauty:

Let's face it, if guys don't find you attractive then they aren't going to spend the tokens on you.  This isn't that hard.  There are models that appeal to all different guys be it fat, thin, black, white, asian, hispanic, etc...

Communication:

If guys cannot talk to you, then why are they going to spend the money?  There are so many new models that spend time doing PMs they ignore their public chat.  Vise versa, they spend so much time in public chat they ignore their PMs.  Communication is key in any relationship be it dating or just friendship.  The same is true for webcamming.  You have to learn how to communicate and talk to people otherwise you will never succeed.  I have helped models with this and they start to improve this then all of a sudden they make more money.

A question that seems to come up a lot is what am I doing wrong?  This is such a vague answer as each model is different.  So thought I'd start with some basics of things that I have found that models are doing wrong on MFC.

1.  Talk

Seems like a basic sense of things, but many models don't talk.  Guys want to hear your voice.  They want to know you are listening to them and that you will respond.

2.  Webcam

Not going to go into detail of this.  Read my blog about that.

3.  Color on cam

Also in the blog

4. 9-5 model

This seems to be a biggie.  What do I mean by 9-5 model.  A 9-5 model is the model that shows up and does the show then leaves.  She makes the video and pictures from time to time, but really doesn't talk to her fans outside of camming.  She might have twitter and snapchat, but doesn't really utilize it.  There are plenty of models that are 9-5 models that do well, but they could be killing it even more.

Guys want to get to know you girls.  Guys want the GF Experience.  If you think that you can be a 9-5 and that is all you will find that you will have a hard time succeeding.  This might be tough when having a bf, gf, hubby or fiance, but keep that in mind when you start camming.

5.  Low - Energy

Seems to be a reoccurring thing.  Guys like models that seem up beat and the life of the party.  Do you like watching a boring movie or an up beat high octane movie?

Update:

6. Are you a quality model or a quantity model?

Seems that a lot of models on MFC these days are quantity over quality.  The quantity model things that the more they cam the better they will do on MFC.  The quality model reflects on her shows and figures out what went wrong or what went right.  Spend the time improving your performance.  Don't go on and hope for the best.

The Royal Royce is a great car, but the reason it is such a great car is that everything is handcrafted and they take their time making them.  There aren't that many of those cars, but the ones that are made are made with the highest quality standards.  These high quality standards make the Royals Royce not only a great car, but an expensive car that is cherished by the people that can afford it.

7.  Follow through

If you say you are going to do something then DO IT!!!  Don't say you will contact someone in a few hrs and then never do it!!!  Follow through with what you say you are going to do!!!  Let your yes be yes and your no be no.

I have NEVER screwed over a model on MFC, but I have been screwed over many times.  The models that succeed know how to follow through with what they say they are going to do.

Even More About Vids

I have been having models ask me a lot about videos from pre-production to post-production.  I have done a few blogs about that, so I thought I'd talk more about it but from a bigger more professional view.

NOTE:  THIS METHOD IS NOT CHEAP AND  NOT FOR THE MODEL ON A BUDGET!!!  THIS WILL RUN YOU OVER $100.  Cheaper then spending over $1000 on a 4K recorder or HD recorder.

If you have either the iPhone 6 or 6s you have the ability to record really good videos.  iPhone 6s will allow ultra HD or 4k videos at 30 fps or 1080p HD at 60 fps.  Here are some steps you can take and some of the things you will need to do this.  ONLY record keeping the phone horizontal.

Update: You can now make 4K video using iPhone SE as well.

1.  iPhone Settings.

Go to your iPhone settings and scroll down to Photo & Camera.  Inside there make sure your video recording settings is set to 1080p at 60 fps or 4k on the 6s.

2.  Lighting

You will need great lighting for this.  If you have professional lighting already then that will work just fine, but if you don't then make sure you have 5000K LED light bulbs.  5000K LED light bulbs is like having natural lighting and is cheaper then buying the professional system.  You will need plenty of lighting for this.

3. Tripod

As a model this is something you should already have.  A tripod is  a must have for any model.

4.  iPhone tripod holder.

If you have a selfie stick the part on the stick is what I am talking about here.  This will allow you to hold your iPhone on the tripod horizontally.  When recording with an iPhone you will want to record with it horizontally ONLY.

5.  Microphone

This is where this will get super expensive.  The built in audio on the iPhone will not be good enough.  The cheapest and best option from what I have found is http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/924676-REG/vidpro_xm_55_electret_condenser_xlr.html
This mic from what I have seen is the best option out there at the cheapest cost.  Microphones can get higher in price and be even more expensive.  You will also then need a stand to hold this microphone.  As well as an adapter to connect XLR to iPhone.

6. Optical Lens

You can get a optical lens for your iPhone. This isn't necessary if you just move the iPhone closer to you.

These are all the things you will need to make a HD or UHD video using your iPhone.  After you have set up everything when you are recording the actual video itself you will want to make sure you are on exposure lock and be able to record without having to worry about your phone changing focus on you.  ALWAYS record keeping your phone horizontal.

What about post-production?  This is a lot harder to explain how to do since there is so much you can do.  If going to be recording in 4k you will need software that can really handle the post-production.  Your best overall software is Adobe Premiere Pro CC.  That will run you about $20 a month and you have to commit to 1 year.
